LG was one of the first companies to announce the 1080p Full HD displays on a small screen. However, HTC overtook LG to announce the first smartphone with 5inch 1080p display. Looks like LG has had a phone with 1080p display under developments and now we are getting information from the benchmark sites.
LG F240K – LG’s first 1080p phone
The phone, LG F240K as it is codenamed, appeared on GLBenchmark and the first thing to be noted about the phone was its high resolution 1080p display. The LG F240K comes with a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, the screen size of the phone however is still not clear. The fact that the display is a 1080p display alone is enough to make the phone a premium one alongside HTC’s Droid DNA. The processor under the LG F240K is not going to be a midget either. It comes with Adreno 320 GPU and hence the processor is expected to be a 1.5GHz quad core Krait processor with Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset.
The rest of the details regarding the LG F240K still continue to remain a mystery. We will keep you updated on the LG F240K as much as possible.
