Samsung ICS Update – Devices Supported

Since this is just the first batch of updates, Samsung has been very careful in naming the devices that will get the Samsung ICS Update. The Galaxy Nexus, manufactured by Samsung already runs on ICS. The first two devices that will be getting the update are Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy S2. Then the lineup of the Galaxy series of tablets which includes Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 7.7 will get the Samsung ICS Update. Another couple of phones that will be getting the first batch of Samsung ICS Update will be Galaxy S2 LTE version and Samsung Galaxy R.

Samsung ICS Update – When? Where?

The exact dates have not been announced though. Samsung has said that the updates will begin rolling out in the Q1 of 2012. The only problem that will concern the users is that the updates will be available only region by region and based on carriers. This means that the users in less lucky part of the world have to wait longer for their devices to get the Samsung ICS Update.
