Samsung Galaxy S Duos
The Samsung Galaxy S Duos is the company’s new attempt in getting the mid range dual SIM Android market. The S duos looks very much like the company’s flagship model – Samsung Galaxy S3. The Samsung Galaxy S Duos could easily be the stripped down version of the Galaxy S3 along with maintaining the looks. The mid range Dual SIM Android phone runs on yesteryear’s version – Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1GHz processor and fueled by 768MB. There is a very decent 5MP camera at the back and the display is a 4inch one with 480×800 pixel resolution.
Samsung Galaxy S Duos – Features
The main thing about the S Duos is the dual sim feature and the S Duos comes with Smart dual sim feature. Smart dual sim makes sure that you never miss a call on either of the SIMs. If you are on call in either of the SIMs and a call comes to the other sim, then that call is forwarded to the SIM being used and thus notifying the user about the incoming call. A full touch 4inch TFT display of 480×800 pixels is quite good for a dual SIM mid range offering. Android 4.0.4 is in charge of the software department and the hardware specs are 1GHz Cortex-A5 processor, 768MB RAM and Adreno 200 GPU. There is 4GB internal storage and there is support for microSD card. The build quality and the design is quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and this could be a real selling point given the craze of Galaxy S3. In terms of connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos is a real winner with WiFi, 3G (on both SIMs), Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB, stereo FM with RDS and so on.
Samsung Galaxy S Duos – Worth the price?
The Samsung Galaxy S Duos is available across the country for Rs17,900. For that money, it gives a decent performance and also borrows some quality styling from the Galaxy S3.
Samsung Galaxy S Duos is the best dual SIM Android phone yet.
