Sony Xperia Hayabusa is the name that has been making rounds in the internet over the past couple of months with numerous leaks and pictures. It also appeared in a leaked Sony release document. Now the time is close for its launch and still there is no stopping the rumors. The latest information from a source close to the Xperia Blog is that the Sony Xperia Hayabusa is all set to arrive officially as the company’s flagship model with the official name – Sony Xperia TX.
It has been nearly five months since the previous flagship model Sony Xperia S was announced. The Sony Xperia TX will lead the Xperia phones this year with a dual core processor on Snapdragon S4 chipset clocked at 1.5GHz, 4.6inch HD screen of 1280 x 720 pixels(pixel density of 319ppi), 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and microSD card support. The other major features include a 13MP snapper at the back accompanied by a 1.3MP front facing camera for video calls, a solid 1700mAh battery and will run ICS (Android 4.0.4) out of the box. As company’s white knight, it will surely be getting the Android 4.1 JellyBean upgrade.
Pricing and release dates have not been confirmed yet, but the device is expected to be officially unveiled at the IFA event on August 29th and the pricing is expected to be around Rs35,000.
