Sony Xperia Neo L

Sony Xperia Neo L is the company’s latest launch in the Android stream and it is not much different from the yesteryear droids from the Sony army. The Xperia Neo L comes in black and white with a 4inch Sony Mobile BRAVIA display sporting a resolution of 480 x854 pixels and having a pixel density of 245ppi. It is powered by an average 1GHz(Yes! 1GHz is considered average these days) processor with Adreno 205 GPU. There is 512MB RAM and internal storage is 1GB with 300MB for the apps. The point to note about the Sony Xperia Neo L is that it comes with Android 4 ICS out of the box. There is a 5MP camera on the back with LED flash and auto-focus that can record 720p HD videos. There is also a front facing VGA camera for video calls. The Sony Xperia Neo L is allrounder when it comes to connectivity – WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS and microUSB. For all features that the Neo L packs, it is priced at Rs19,000.

Sony Xperia Neo L – Bottomline

The Sony Xperia Neo L was released with the intention of making it better than the original Neo V, but it has failed to be a good successor or a sibling. The cheap build quality and the below 4inch screen do little justice to the high price of Neo L, especially when you consider the yesterday year processor and GPU with only 512MB RAM. Coming with Android 4 out of the box is one of the few advantages of the phone.
